Attached are some photos to keep all up to date on what is happening on the house. The paint has been resoved and things are moving forward. Enjoy.

Things are progressing although slowly, especially the tile. It has been three weeks that the tile people have had their time to get things done but in reality they have only worked on it for about a week and a half due to their work ethic...get to the job late and leave early to make up for it or work only three days (short ones at that) during a given week. Very frustrating for us but they are doing great work with what has been done so far. I finished the frond porch deck and started on the railings and hope to finish that early next week. The finish carpenters have almost completed all the door and window jambs and casements and they really have come out well. Although they too had three days where they did not show up at all as they were working on other jobs. So based on all of the delays it probably will be August (late) when everything is completed. So now on to the photos:

The outside of the house is pretty much complete. Painting, stain, and rockwork. Some minor problems but we anticipate they will be made good in the long run. The entry that Chris Wessling, our architect, designed came out relly well. The louvered panels underneath the front deck look better than we had hoped although a lot of work went into them by me (Bob). We got the idea from the hotel we all stayed at for Brad and Alicia's wedding if you wanted to know. The cabinets are being istalled and the pictures show part of the kitchen and the entry desk area. Enjoy.

Since we last posted some things have taken place that deserve some input. The ouside painting has started as well as the masonry. They both look really good and the photos will attest to that. The inside is another story as the texture is continuing to tax us. Appropriate since tax deadliine is on us. We hope that this will be settled tomorrow. I have finished the gate for the side of the garage and it can out pretty good if I say so myself. Hopefully the architectural review committee will see it that way as well. Enjoy.

The outside of the house is completed except for the rock work on the front of the house. Siding, trim, and shingles are all in place and do look pretty good. Monday the framers will work on the remaining framework for the rock work and complet the ceiling in the enclosed patio. The front deck ceiling is complete and looks wonderful. Painting in the garage is almost complete but there still remains some work in the inside of the house. The texture is in need of some effort and hopefully will be worked on this coming week. At least there has been quite a bit of progress. One photo shows the wall to the side of the garage which is where the garbage cans and other stuff will go and be out of sight.

Brad helped me so we now can add pictures. Here are some of the progress. One picture is of our annual snowman. Enjoy!

Just to let everyone know...having trouble with the blog site as it will not allow me to add pictures since forcing me to move to the "new" system. Sorry. We are moving along as the siding is coming along quite nicely. The texture has been added to the sheet rock inside and painting should be next. We have heat in the house now so that makes it quite nice. We have sent some pictures out via the email system so if you are interested in seeing them please let us know.
